Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered termination of two more teachers over unauthorized absence from duties for over five years.
Jameela Akhtar, a teacher at Boys’ High School Singhpora and Nighat Hussain a teacher at boys’ middle school Soura here were terminated from their services under Article 113 of J&K Civil Service Rules (Volume I) of 1956, officials said.
According to a government order, Jameela Akhtar, has been fired for remaining absent from her legitimate duties from September 09, 2014, while Nighat Akhtar has remained absent from her legitimate duties from September 1, 2012 even as she was provided ample opportunities to resume her duties.
The sacking of two more teachers comes days after four government teachers were terminated from their services for remaining absent from duties.
