Anantnag: An elderly tourist from Mumbai died in Pahalgam, soon after checking out from a hotel in the south Kashmir resort on Sunday.
67-year-old Uttam Laxman Shinde of Amrul Nager Kherwadi Road Bundra ( East) Mumbai suddenly fell ill soon after checking out from the hotel and was rushed to PHC Pahalgam, official sources said.
He was referred to GMC Anantnag where doctors declared him dead, they said.
