Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir reported 97 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday while one person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said.
Among the fresh cases, 15 were reported from the Jammu Division and 82 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 3,31,795. The casualty was reported from Kashmir.
So far 4,431 persons — 2,176 in Jammu and 2,255 in Kashmir — have died of the virus, they said.
Giving district wise details, official data stated that Srinagar reported 36 cases, Baramulla 18, Budgam 16, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 3, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 2, Doda 2, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 6, Ramban 0 and Reasi 1.
Moreover, 77 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time — 20 from Jammu Division and 57 from Kashmir.
So far 3,26,510 patients have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 854 —124 in Jammu and 730 in Kashmir.
They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.
The government also informed that 63,426 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
