Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported on Tuesday recovery of 185 more coronavirus infected persons while 102 new cases of virus were reported from the Union territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, the trend of recoveries continued in J&K on Tuesday as 185 more patients recovered—46 from Jammu and 139 from Kashmir from the deadly infection. During the same time, they said, the UT reported 102 fresh cases—73 from Kashmir and 29 from Jammu, taking the overall number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic in J&K last year to 329991.
Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar 41, Baramulla 9, Budgam 7, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 2 and Ganderbal 4. No case was reported from Kulgam and Shopian districts of south Kashmir.
In the winter capital, the officials said Poonch reported 9, Jammu 8, Rajouri 6, Udhampur 3, Kishtwar 2 and Doda 1 new cases of coronavirus. No fresh cases were reported from Ramban, Reasi, Kathua and Samba districts, officials said.
Also, the officials said that there was no death due to the virus. So far 4424—2174 in Jammu and 2250 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen.
