SRINAGAR: One match of the DFA Srinagar Super Division League was played on Sunday at Synthetic Turf, TRC here.
The only match of the day was played between Jehlum FC and Qamarwari FC.
Jehlum FC dominated the game and defeated Qamarwari FC by 4 goals to nil. Jehlum FC played aggressive football right from the start and made a great move in the 14th minute of the first half to open the scoring. Rizwan scored the goal which took every body by surprise. The Jehlum FC team maintained its 1-0 lead till the end of the first half.
In the second half, Jehlum FC sought to double its lead, and succeeded in the 42nd minute. In the 64th and 68th minute, Mehraj scored two back to back goals for Jehlum FC.
Jehlum FC missed two good chances to score in the dying moments of the match, but failed. The match ended with 4-0 in favour of Jehlum FC.
