SRINAGAR: The second match of the ongoing 1st Positive Kashmir Knockout Football Championship 2021 was played on Saturday at the Synthetic Turf TRC between Kashmir Avengers FC and ARCO FC. The match was played under the floodlights.
An amazing experience for players and spectators, the match started on an aggressive note with both the teams trying hard to score. The first half was dominated by Kashmir Avengers FC. They made certain brilliant moves at the ARCO goal but their attempts were foiled by the ARCO goalkeeper, who made some beautiful saves. The first half score was 0-0.
The second half started with Kashmir Avengers creating more problems for ARCO FC, and succeeded in taking the lead through Kelvin.
ARCO FC also made certain brilliant attacks and came close to level the score when they were awarded a penalty, but ARCO FC player missed the chance. In the dying moments, ARCO FC made a great attacking move and succeeded to level the score through Ishfaq. The full time score was 1-1.
The match was decided in a tie breaker in which Kashmir Avengers FC defeated ARCO FC 4-2.
Saleem of ARCO FC was declared man of the match.
