Srinagar: A woman was attacked and injured on Tuesday by a black bear in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
35-year-old Shaheena Begum was working in her fields near Powerhouse Bridge in Kangan when a bear appeared there and attacked her on Tuesday afternoon, reports said. The woman sustained injuries in the bear attack. She was immediately removed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
However, the doctors there referred her to SKIMS for advanced treatment, reports said.
