Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported on Tuesday 126 fresh cases of novel coronavirus cases while 148 more virus infected patients have recovered during the last 24 hours in the Union Territory.
According to officials, Kashmir Valley reported 92 new cases of Covid while the remaining 34 were detected in the Jammu division on Tuesday, taking the total number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic in J&K last year to 326159.
Giving district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 46 cases, Baramulla 20, Budgam 13, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 2, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 6, Shopian 1, Jammu 4, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 2, Doda 7, Kishtwar 2, Ramban 1 and Reasi 16. Four districts of Union Territory including Anantnag, Kathua , Samba and Poonch reported no new cases of the virus.
Moreover, officials said, 148 more Covid patients have recovered—25 from Jammu division and 123 from the Valley.
Also, officials said that the death toll due to Covid-19 remained 4410 as no fresh fatality was reported in J&K during the last 24 hours.
