SRINAGAR: In the ongoing DFA Srinagar Annual Football League Tournament 2021, two matches of Super Division were played on Saturday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
The first match was played between Old City FC and Qamarawri FC. Both clubs started with a dominating approach trying to beat each others defensive lines. Both teams created ample opportunities to score but missed the targets. The match ended as a goalless draw.
The second match was played between Solina Sports FC & Young Rangreth FC. In the 10th minute of the first half Arsalan Parray of Solina Sports found the net and scored a tremendous goal. The game picked up momentum after that and both the teams played offensive football.
Solina Sports played with all their might but could not stop Young Rangreth’s forward player from scoring an equalizer. Both teams trying their hard to take the lead but failed. The match ended with 1-1 goal draw.
The tournament is being organised by DFA Srinagar under the aegis of JKFA and in collaboration with JKSC.
