Srinagar: Three persons, including a woman on Saturday were attacked and injured by a black bear in Kupwara district of north Kashmir.
According to reports, a bear appeared in Ananwan village in Kralgund on Saturday morning and attacked an elderly woman when she was washing clothes. In the incident two others also received minor injuries. Two of the injured have been identified as Saja Begum and Bashir Ahmed Dar.
Among the three, Saja Begum has been referred to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment.
