SRINAGAR: The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) on Monday announced the commencement of Annual League Football Tournament 2021-22 with the Super-Division league set to kick off from August 25.
The Super-Division will see the participation of 14 football clubs from Srinagar, with the matches set to be played at Synthetic Turf TRC in Srinagar.
The participating Super-Division teams include: IFC Kashmir, Qamarwari FC, Sher-e-Khas FC, FC Views, Young Rangrath FC, Court Road FC, Towheed FC, Young Iqbal FC, Kashmir United FC, Galaxy FC, Syed Tajuddin FC, Hamdaniya FC, Old City FC and Solina Sports.
The opening day fixtures will see IFC Kashmir take on Qamarwari FC at 3:00 pm, while Sher-e-Khas FC will lock horns with FC Views at 5:00 pm.
The Super-Division is being organised by JKFA’s District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
The DFA Srinagar organises Valley-based league tournaments including Premier Division, Super-Division, A-Division and B-Division annually, and will be announcing dates regarding the same in the coming days.
