SRINAGAR: The Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) and Sports Authority of India (SAI) have announced open selection trials for boys and girls in Basketball on August 24.
The trials will be held at Srinagar’s Gindun Sports Complex in Rajbagh at 4:00 pm and the age cut-off has been limited to only those players who are born after 01-01-2010.
The selected players will train and hone their skills at Khelo India’s Basketball centre in Srinagar.
Calling it a “good news for young and budding Basketball players of Kashmir”, a JKSC statement added that interested players are required to bring along their Aadhar card, 2 latest PP size photographs, water bottle, mask and sanitizer.
