Srinagar: A middle aged man died on Saturday after he slipped from a mountain peak in Damhal Hanjipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
50-year- old Shakeel Ahmad Magray, a resident of Watoo Kulgam had gone for a picnic in the nearby forest area, where he slipped from a mountain peak, resulting in his on-spot death, reports said.
After strenuous efforts by the locals and police, Magray’s body was recovered from the spot, reports said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the matter and started further investigation.
