Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Friday recorded 331 fresh Covid cases, which took the tally to 3,16,291, while six deaths pushed the toll to 4,333, officials said.
Out of the fresh cases, 77 were from the Jammu division and 254 from the Kashmir division of the Union Territory (UT), the officials said.
They said Srinagar district recorded the highest 78 cases followed by 29 in Budgam district.
The number of active cases has dropped to 4,209 in the UT, while 3,07,749 patients have recovered so far, the officials said.
The death toll in the UT due to the pandemic rose to 4,333 as six patients died in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the officials said, there were 29 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in Jammu and Kashmir.
