Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday witnessed more recoveries of coronavirus infected people, while 298 fresh cases and four more Covid-19 related deaths were reported across the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
According to officials, 573 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours—110 from Jammu division and 463 from Kashmir, while during the same time 298 fresh cases of virus have been detected across J&K, taking the total number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic last year to 315960.
Out of fresh cases, officials said, 196 were reported from Kashmir Valley and remaining 102 from Jammu division.
Giving district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 60, Baramulla 19, Budgam 20, Pulwama 9, Kupwara 17, Anantnag 30, Bandipora 4, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 24, Jammu 7, Udhampur 7, Rajouri 7, Doda 9, Kathua 2, Samba 23, Kishtwar 16, Poonch 14, Ramban 8 and Reasi 9 new cases of Covid-19.
Shopian district in south Kashmir reported no case of Covid-19 on Thursday.
Regarding the fatalities, officials said, two deaths each were reported from Kashmir and Jammu, taking the overall fatality count to 4327.
