SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Wing of Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) Saturday demolished various illegal structures in LDA jurisdiction of Srinagar city.
During the drive, the Enforcement Wing demolished tin sheds at Babademb, single storied under construction house at Tang Bagh Nowpora, illegal encroachment in Pohloo Brein, a newly raised hut in Dal area, and certain other reported encroachments/constructions alongside NFR Foreshore Road.
Meanwhile, the violators have been warned not to go for any illegal encroachment/constructions in the garb of Covid-19 lockdown as the Enforcement wing shall continue its demolition drives within LDA jurisdiction and the illegally raised constructions shall be razed to ground.
Moreover, all the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction & in-lake are hereby once again directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions / encroachments.
Furthermore, all the Tipper/Load carried owners are directed not to carry/ ferry any construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without getting permission and in case anybody is found indulging in such activity the same shall be dealt as per law.
