Srinagar: The authorities at the Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar ordered suspension of all the UG Classes (MBBS, B.Sc. Paramedics/ Nursing & Other Paramedics) till May 15 in wake of coronavirus situation.
“Pursuant to Government order no.21 JK (DMMR) of 2021 dated 18-04-2021, all the UG classes (MBBS, B.sc, paramedics nursing and other paramedics ) are here by suspended till 15-05-2021,” reads an order issued by the authorities.
“However online teaching shall continue as per the schedule issued by respective departments / Nursing College Srinagar / AMT School Srinagar respectively,” the order adds.
The suspension of classes at the GMC comes a day after the Jammu and Kashmir government ordered closure of all colleges and Universities across the Union Territory till May 15 over the looming coronavirus threat.
