Srinagar- A CRPF trooper committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
An official said that a CRPF trooper, identified as Amar Jyoti, a resident of Kerala State, shot himself dead with his service rifle at his camp in Sheikhpora Budgam.
He said the trooper died on spot and was affiliated with 79 Battalion of CRPF.
Police have registered a report in this regard and have launched further investigations into this incident.
