I belong to a category of people, who still don’t prefer to have breakfast before having a brief glimpse of newspapers just to know about the daily happenings in and around the globe. From the past few years, newspaper content has become the casualty after the muzzling of genuine voices of journalists by regimes In power, that has led to decreasing readership of newspapers, infact some of my known friends who happened to be avid readers of newspapers have stopped reading newspapers altogether. This is because impartial and unbiased reporting with good editorial policy seems to have become the thing of the past. But some newspapers have converted this adversity into an opportunity and kept the flame of professional journalism alive.
I am writing this from the deep depths of my heart: Kashmir Observer belongs to that category of newspaper whose content is food for thought for avid newspaper readers like me.I love to read editorials, features and op-ed articles on KO. The bottom line report especially is always carrying something unique and path breaking which often leads to a creation of narrative among the masses to know further about it.
Last but not the least, Kashmir Observer’s multimedia team is doing a very good job. Unlike other multimedia videos, KO’s are a treat to watch.
I am hopeful the Kashmir Observer news media team will keep on getting better and better to serve its readers with impartial and unbiased news reports without carrying an agenda. I would like to take this opportunity to suggest everyone to read Kashmir Observer and recommend it to friends as well.
