Srinagar- Suspected militants triggered off a low intensity improvised explosive device (IED) in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said that small sized IED which was kept in a scrap in a dumper was triggered off in Pazalpora area near CRPF party, which exploded with loud bang resulting in damage to glass panes of few stranded vehicles and some shops.
However, he said there was no loss of life or injury reported in the explosion.
He said that team of Police, Army and intelligence agencies have reached to the spot and investigation has been taken up.
He further added that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers
