Srinagar- A powerful earthquake jolted Kashmir valley on Friday night triggering panic among the residents who rushed outside their homes
According to the National Centre for Sesimology, the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.1.
It said the epicentre of the quake was Amritsar, Punjab and occurred at a depth of 10 km at 10.34 pm.
However, there were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
