Srinagar: Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have gone missing from a camp in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said Friday.
Constables Ishi Sahib Rao Dilip and Sooraj Pal went missing from their camp in Sunderbani around 6:00pm on Thursday, news agency GNS reported Friday. The disappearance of the BSF men has been brought into the notice of police by the commandant of 69 battalion around midnight, the report said, while quoting unnamed officials.
“In this regard, a missing has been filed,” the official said.
Till the filing of this report, there was no trace of the duo. The report further said that the duo had recently returned from home following the expiry of the leave and were under institutional quarantine, a mandatory protocol for covid-19 pandemic.
