SRINAGAR: In the District Skiing Championship organized by Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir on 19 January 2021 at Gulmarg, DPS Srinagar bagged a rich haul of medals including six gold medals and one bronze medal.
The winners have all been selected for the UT level championship which is to be held soon.
Commenting on the success of the winners, the vice-principal of DPS School Shafaq Afshan, said “I congratulate the winners and am proud that they continue to bring laurels to not only the school, but the community at large.”
DPS School Chairman Vijay Dhar also congratulated the medallists and said, “It is heartening to see our students are making a mark in less conventional disciplines and inspiring others to follow their lead.”
