Srinagar: Police on Monday attached immovable property of an alleged militant associate of Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to a police spokesperson, immovable property consisting of a house belonging to an alleged OGW was attached under relevant provisions of law for providing logistic support to militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad.
He said that property has been attached in connection with crime No. 03/2020 of police station Khrew, Awantipora.
“Pertinent to mention that one Army Jawan and one policeman achieved martyrdom while fighting militants in the incident covered by the said case and two militants of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad were killed,” the police spokesperson said.
