Srinagar: Mobile internet services remained suspended for the second consecutive day in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after Friday’s deadly clashes along the Line of Control (LoC) in which five soldiers and five civilians were killed.
According to the locals, low speed internet services remained suspended for the second consecutive day Saturday in view of tension in the border district following Friday’s killings in LoC shelling. Though did not say any word about snapping of internet services, the locals believe that the uneasy tension along the LoC in the border district was the reason.
The disruption has restricted the ability of the people of the district to communicate and also is affecting the students preparing for various exams, locals told news agency KDC.
