Srinagar- After getting bail from the court, police have released two Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) leaders from two detention centres.
Sources said that JeI District President for Bandipora Muhammad Skinder Malik of Gundpora Bandipora and Tehsil President Ali Muhammad Sheikh, a resident of Ashtingoo Bandipora were released from Judicial Custody from Central Jail Srinagar and Sub Jail Baramulla respectively, reported news agency KNT.
Court bailed out both these JeI leaders.
Malik was lodged at Srinagar Central Jail while Sheikh was at Sub-Jail Baramulla.
Both these leaders had been detained under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act at police station Bandipora.
