Srinagar- Four youth were injured after some explosive substance went off near the encounter site in Sirhama area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, official sources said.
The incident happened soon after the encounter in which two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were killed, reported news agency GNS.
They said that the many people rushed to the encounter site and there was explosion as a result of which four youth— Irfan Ahmad, Mohammad Yaseen Rather son of Mohammad Maqbool, Shahid Yousuf son of Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh and Mudasir Ahmad Magray son of Gul Mohammad Magray were injured adding that two of them have been shifted to Srinagar hospital and two others shifted to Bijbehara Sub district hospital.
A police officer confirmed the injuries to four persons. However he said that it was not immediate known what kind of explosive burst.
