Rajouri: An Army man was killed in the firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kalal area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri district, officials said.
Reports reaching here said that firing broke out on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday in Kalal area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri.
“An Army Havaldar was injured during the cross-border firing, who later succumbed to his injuries,” officials said, adding that the slain Army man was from a Rashtriya Rifles battalion and was deployed on Line of Control.
