Srinagar- 79 CRPF personnel, an army soldier and a policeman tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir on Monday, officials said.
The CRPF cases are from 90 battalion Urnhal Annatnag, 132 battalion Santnagar Srinagar, 79 battalion Sonawar besides 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 101, 102, 105, 107, 108 batallions Anantnag, the officials said.
The officials said their tests were undertaken at SKIMS Soura laboratory and were among 126 positive cases in total detected at the laboratory on Sunday.
This is the fourth time in the last six days that Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel have tested positive for coronavirus.
On June 10, 28 CRPF personnel had tested positive. 24 of them tested positive on Saturday, while ten tested positive on Sunday. A 40-year-old CRPF personnel, who had tested positive for COVID-19, died at a hospital here on June 8.
