Srinagar: As many as 35 people infected for coronavirus were discharged on Monday after they recovered from the disease at the government run hospitals, officials said.
According to the officials, 27 patients from Nowgam, Tailwani, Pushroo and Kharpora villages of Anantnag were discharged from the Covid-19 designated Trauma Hospital, Bijbehara today after their recovery from the disease. All of them went through repeated tests before the officials sent them for home quarantine in presence of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar, CMO Anantnag and Dy. CMO Anantnag after they were tested negative for the said disease.
The recovered patient said that they are highly thankful to the district administration and entire health department for serving such patients round the clock tirelessly.
They further said that they are hopeful that all the patients who are still undergoing treatment in hospital will recover soon and suggested common masses to stay homes and maintain physical distance to avoid the infection.
Similarly, eight more people were discharged from SKIMS Bemina after recovering from coronavirus, officials said.
Those discharged include 6 orthopedic patients tested Covid-19 positive at Bone and Joint Hospital
