Jammu: The Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Monday rewarded 230 officers and police personnel with commendation certificates and cash rewards for their efforts to contain Covid-19 spread and the work on counter insurgency front in different districts
Among those awarded include, 8 inspectors, 13 sub-inspectors,18 assistant sub-inspectors, 36 head constables, 63 selection grade constables, 42 constables and 18 followers and 27 special police officers.
Apart from them, one Pharmacist and four nursing orderlies have also been rewarded.
“These rewards have been given to these officers and personnel for their dedication and devotion towards their assigned duties,” the police spokesperson said.
He said that the DGP also expressed heartfelt happiness for the successes on the counter insurgency front and said that the efforts of Police and central forces will help in eradicating militancy from Jammu and Kashmir.
