Srinagar: An octogenarian woman and three non-locals were among twelve people on Monday discharged from a hospital here after recovering from the deadly coronavirus infections.
According to an official spokesperson, twelve people, including three non-locals were discharged today from SKIMS Medical College Hospital Bemina after recovering from the contagious disease. Five of them are residents of Baramulla, two each from Srinagar and Bandipora, one from south India’s Kerala and two from Indian capital New Delhi.
Among those discharged today is an 80-year-old woman from worst hit Gund Jehangir village from Bandipora. She was admitted with Covid-19 Pneumonia and Respiratory Distress last month.
“With this the percentage of recovery of patients treated for COVID 19 in SKIMS Bemina (JVC), has reached 56 %,” the official spokesperson added.
