Srinagar: An army man was injured in a sniper attack by Pakistani troops along the line of control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said Wednesday.
Violating ceasefire, Pakistan army fired sniper shot at army’s Meera Post in Kalal area of Naushera sector this afternoon, news agency GNS reported. The sniper shot left a soldier wounded in his right leg.
The injured soldier was taken to nearby health facility where from he was later airlifted to army’s command hospital in Udhampur for specialized treatment.
