Srinagar: 26 vehicles have been seized in south Kashmir’s Awantipora for defying prohibitory orders imposed to contain spread of coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir, police said Tuesday.
13 vehicles were seized by police in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora for flouting government imposed restrictions, a police spokesperson said. In Pampore, ten vehicles were confiscated for breaking lockdown orders.
“In the areas falling under the jurisdiction of police station Khrew, three vehicles were seized for violating the government orders,” the spokesperson added.
