Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police said Tuesday that 36 vehicles were seized in south Kashmir’s Awantipora for defying government imposed restrictions.
12 vehicles were seized by cops in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora for violating orders issued under section 144 CrPC, a police spokesperson said. Four other vehicles were seized from Pampore for violating lockdown.
6 vehicles were seized in Tral and 14 in Khrew for violating the government prohibitory orders.
