New Delhi- Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has extended the final date to apply for Common Entrance Test (CET) which is held for Engineering and Technology courses and Polytechnic Entrance Test (PET).
According to the released notification, the application last date has been extended till May 10, 2020. Previously, the authorities had extended the application submission date till April 20, 2020. However, re-extension of dates has been done due to the ongoing nationwide lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Polytechnic Entrance Test (PET) has also been postponed since the examination was earlier scheduled to be held on May 10, 2020. New dates for the entrance examination will be announced soon.
JKCET is conducted annually to provide admissions into the Engineering and Technology courses offered by the participating institutes of the state. The examination is conducted in offline mode.
JKPET is also a pen and paper based entrance examination for admissions into the 3 year engineering diploma courses offered by various polytechnics of the state
