Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Monday established a helpline to assist labourers from the Union Territory who are stranded in different parts of the country due to the lockdown imposed to contain spread of Covid-19.
Migrant labourers have been asked to seek assistance and help by contacting Assistant Labour Commissioner (For Kashmir), Zameer Ahmad on 9797172356 and Sanjay Kumar, Labour Officer (For Jammu) on 9419424281, an official spokesperson said today.
The spokesperson said that the nominated officers have been asked to liaise with the concerned authority of the State/UT for providing assistance/help to these stranded migrant labourers.
