SRINAGAR – A paramilitary trooper was injured after militants lobbed a grenade on police station Kakpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening.
A police official said that suspected militants attacked the police station with the grenade. “In the blast one CRPF trooper Sonu Kumar of 41 bn sustained splinter injuries,” reported news agency GNS.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, he said.
The cops manning the main gate opened some aerial shots. Soon after the incident, police launched searches in the area to nab the attackers, the official said.
