SRINAGAR – Continuing its drive against the illegal constructions, the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) on Saturday demolished seven structures in several areas of this capital city.
According to an official spokesperson, the enforcement wing of the LAWDA under the supervision of Enforcement Officer LDA, SDPO Zakura and SHO Nigeen carried out demolition drive in Saidakadal, Check-Saderbal and Nigeen areas of the city.
“During the drive, seven illegal constructions including a house, 02 shops, tin shed, three tin-walls and a foot bridge were demolished by the team,” the official spokesperson said
“The people residing within the LDA jurisdiction have been asked not to go for any illegal construction or encroachment,” he added.
