NAYPYITAW – A 12-minute porn video shot at Bagan is leading to growing outrage, Myanmar’s best-known tourist spots and a UNESCO heritage site of thousands of hallowed Buddhist pagodas.
Users under the name ‘Yeees Yeees Yeees’ posted the video on Pornhub.
The 23-year-old Italian couple’s naked antics against one of Bagan’s ancient pagodas have been less than well-received in Myanmar, with condemnation spreading online.
Managing Director of New Fantastic Asia tour company, Tun Tun Naing, questioned what seemed to be “negligent” security at Bagan’s sites and called for action.
“Our Bagan pagodas are The Holy Land,” wrote Facebook user Mg Khin Gyi on the social media site with multiple angry emojis.

Mandalay Chairman of the Union of Myanmar Travel Association Myo Yee said the case was bad news for a tourism industry hit hard by coronavirus woes.
The amateur pornstars filmed the video in broad daylight. The video had been viewed nearly 250,000 times by Thursday and clocked more than 5,500 dislikes and over 2,200 likes.
The pair who joined Pornhub 11 months back have 81,000 subscribers.
