JAMMU – TADA Court here in Jammu after hearing the arguments and counter arguments in a case related to the killing of Indian Air Forces Personnel and abduction of Dr Rubiya Sayeed listed the case for December 14 next month.
All the accused including JKLF(H) Chairman Javaid Ahmed Mir, Muhammad Salim Nanaji, Wajahat Bashir Qureshi, Engineer Ali Muhammad Mir, Muhammad Zaman Mir, Javai Ahmed Zargar, Manzoor Ahmed Sofi and Mehraj Sheikh were present in the court.
JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who is languishing in Tihar Jail appeared in court through video conference while another JKLF leader Showkat Bakshi was not produced in the court as he has been lodged some unknown jail under Public Safety Act.
Two charge sheets were filed by the CBI against Muhammad Yasin Malik and others before the designated TADA court in Jammu. At least 3 FIR’s were lodged by Jammu Kashmir Police at police station Nowhata, MR Ganj and Shaheed Ganj in 1989 against Muhammad Yasin Malik.
Court sources said that after hearing argument and counter arguments, the court listed the case for next hearing on December 14. (KNT)
