PAHALGAM – A team from New Delhi Monday attached the personal land of two former Hizbul Mujhadeen militants in Liver, Sular area of Pahalgam here in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Official sources said that a team from New Delhi, comprising officials from Enforcement Directorate, Revenue and Ministry of Finance led by one Assistant Director Dinesh Kumar attached the personal land measuring 9 kanals at Liver area of Sular Pahalgam. The land is owned by a former Hizb militant Ghulam Nabi Khan alias Amir Khan.
The team also attached 2 kanals of land belonging to one Zafar Hussain alias Khurshid Ahmed son of Sanaullah Bhat.
Official sources said that the land of duo has been attached under Money Laundering Act of 2002. Sources added that local officials from Revenue Department also accompanied the team from New Delhi.
A local official while confirming the attachment of the property said that neither this attached property can be sold nor transferred till further orders. (KNT)
