SRINAGAR The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan Monday convened a meeting to review the logistic arrangements for the plantation drive at selected locations in the city and intensive sanitation works to be carried out at G.B. Pant hospital this weekend.
He directed Forest department to ensure that plants, material, tools and staff should reach the designated locations two hours before the launch of the plantation drive.
Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) was directed to keep dedicated and adequate manpower ready with equipment, anti-infectants for intensive sanitation works in and around the G.B. Pant hospital. PDD and PHE will ensure uninterrupted electricity and water in the hospital on the weekend.
The Police Department will deploy adequate personnel besides Traffic department will ensure hassle-free movement of vehicles at the venues. Deputy Commissioner Srinagar was asked to deploy Magistrates at the locations and also monitor the proper arrangements should be done by concerned departments.
The Divisional Commissioner stressed to the concerned officers to maintain close coordination among each other for the hassle-free conduct of two events in the capital city on this weekend.
Additional Commissioner Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Mir, Conservator Forests, Wild Life Warden, Joint Commissioner SMC, SP city, Superintending Engineer Hydraulic, Administrative officer G.B. Pant Hospital, Exens of PDD & PHE, Cantonment Board officer and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
