BANDIPORA: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, surprise inspections were conducted at several government offices in the district by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Reyaz Ahmad Beigh.
During the inspection, three revenue officials were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties and were placed under suspension and enquiry has been initiated against them.
The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora has also initiated disciplinary action against four doctors who were also found absent at District Hospital Bandipora without any proper permission. The DC Bandipora directed to withhold the salary of the doctors pending an inquiry into their conduct. Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora will inquire into the matter and has been asked to charge sheet the officials for taking disciplinary action under the law.
The DC directed all the officials and employees working in the district to ensure punctuality in the offices.
SALARIES WITHHELD
Meanwhile, District Administration Rajouri today withheld the salary of four doctors of Sub District Hospital Nowshera for remaining absent from duty without taking leave.
Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad found the doctors absent during a surprise inspection of the SDH and several Government offices in Nowshera.
During the inspection of Sub district Hospital Nowshera, the deputy commissioner apart from checking attendance of the employees also took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients including the availability of the medicines and other life saving drugs.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Chief Medical officer Rajouri withheld the salaries of doctors including, Dr.Gopal Sharma, Medical officer, Dr.Rajesh Gupta, Consultant Pediatrician, Dr. Liakat Hussain, Consultant Orthopedics, and Dr.Vijay Kumar, Consultant Anesthetist.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Rajouri also paid surprise visit to the office of zonal education officer, Nowshera, Child Development Project Officer, Nowshera, Tehsil Office Nowshera and Tehsil supply officer Nowshera, to check the attendance besides reviewing the functioning
