SRINAGAR Crime Branch Kashmir has registered a case against examinee for fraudulently managing two answer script of same serial numbers.
Crime Branch Kashmir initiated a preliminary enquiry on a communication received from Joint Secretary (Administration) J&K BOSE Kashmir Division. During the course of enquiry, it came to fore that on 13.03.2018 examination staff of Centre No. 8132 located at Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Batmaloo, Sgr distributed three series of mathematics papers viz 17503-A, 17503-B & 17503-C among the candidates who appeared in Biannual examination of SSE class 10th and answer scripts were also distributed.
During the process of this examination one candidate namely Hashim Bin Shafi, Roll No. 8132496 went out of examination hall on the pretext of going to the washroom.
When he returned back to Examination hall the concerned staff found him in possession of two answer scripts having same serial number i.e 107676. During further course of enquiry, it came to fore that the examinee was a student of M.P. Hr. Sec. School Bagh-I-Dilawar Khan, Srinagar and the suspect student had managed one more answer script having same serial number and solved C-Series of question paper, while as examination staff had given him A-Series question paper and the writing of both the answer sheets did not tally with each other, a Crime Branch spokesperson said in a statement.
The questions were attempted by the suspect himself on the answer script provided by examination staff, whereas the questions on other answer script of same serial number fraudulently managed by suspect from outside were attempted in different hand writing. The case has been taken up for investigation, the spokesperson said.
