SRINAGAR National Conference (NC) patron and party candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha polls, Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Thursday attacked Governor Jammu and Kashmir for being a BJP man.
He is not the Governor of JK people but a BJPs man. He even doesnt know the order that is being issued by New Delhi. He doesnt even know that highway was banned as the decision was taken by New Delhi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singhs statement and Ministry of Home Affairs statements have proved it that who has taken the decision, Abdullah told reporters after a rally in Dal Lake here.
Abdullah said that New Delhi should remember that JK people are not their slaves. If they want us to do so then they should be ready for the situation that will emerge here, which cant be controlled, he added.
said that the electorates across India have to decide whether the country will be secular India or Hindu India.
Talking to media persons after addressing a gathering in Dal Lake here, Abdullah who was accompanied by many party leaders including NCs provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani said that this election is different from other as it is not about only Jammu and Kashmir but about the while country. People have to choose whether they will go with the secular India or Hindu India, he said.
He said that people are coming out to vote to save the Muslims, Sikhs, Bodhs and people belonging to other communities. People came to know that if they wont cast their ballots then they cant change the situation, he added.
Abdullah further said that people in the Valley have suffered a lot for this vote. JK people have suffered a lot to cast their votes, he added.
About less tourist arrivals in JK, Abdullah said there was negative publicity about Kashmir while as Governor of one of the State who is an RSS man asked people not to visit Kashmir and dont go for Amarnath Yatra but the tourists continue to visit the State. I believe Kashmir is a paradise on earth and there is no place like Kashmir, he said.
