SRINAGAR A panch was shot dead by unknown gunmen at Shalipora village in south Kashmirs Kulgam district on Wednesday evening.
Reports said that the masked gunmen barged inside the house of Abdul Majeed Dar and fired upon him, leaving him critically injured.
Majeed, a panch who contested as an independent candidate after he quit PDP, was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors referred him to SMHS where he succumbed.
