SRINAGAR At least six youth were detained by the government forces during the wee hours of Tuesday in Sopore area of Baramulla district on the charges of stone pelting.
Media reports quoted the residents of Janwara village of Sopore saying that a joint team of government forces cordoned off the village today early morning and detained at least six residents during the searches.
Earlier, intense clashes were reported from the area following a gunfight between militants and government forces in Warpora village of Sopore.
