GANDERBAL The District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal held National Lok Adalat on Saturday in the District as per directions of State Legal Services Authority.
Three Lok Adalat Benches, Two benches were constituted at Ganderbal wherein the First Bench was presided by chairman District Legal Services Authority Pr. District & Sessions Judge Ganderbal (Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Wani) and other member was Mr. Syed Saif Ud din (Advocate), Second Bench was presided by Chief Judicial Magistrate Ganderbal Mr. Mehraj Ud Din Sofi and other member was Mr. Abdul Samad Sofi (Advocate) and Third at Kangan was presided by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services committee (Munsiff/JMIC) Kangan Mr. Iqbal Rafiq vakil and other member was Mr. Jamal Ud Din (Advocate), who took up the identified matters for amicable settlement. The National Lok Adalat was held under the supervision of Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal District and Sessions Judge) Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Wani. A total number of 423 cases were taken up before the said National Lok Adalat Benches, out of which 228 Cases were settled through amicable settlement. An amount of Rs. 17,80,550/- were realized in Bank Recovery cases, Electricity Matters, and the cases under N.I.Act.
