For 95% or above admission average, your entrance award value will be $2,500. For admission average between 90% to 94.99%, entrance award value will be $1000. If your admission average is between 85% to 89.99%, then you are eligible for $750 entrance award value. For 80% to 84.99% admission average, you will get an entrance award value of $500.
Whatever, your value of entrance award may be, it will be deducted from your academic fee while making the payment to the McMaster University. So if you are good at studies, then this will be your first reward for a bright future.
Indigenous Entrance Awards
McMaster University offers three very generous awards to first-year indigenous and extraordinary students. Students can get a scholarship of up to $80,000 to fund their education. The three awards are mentioned below.
- First one is, Marjorie Anderson Entrance Academic Grant for Indigenous Students, with a value of $80,000 ($20,000 per year),
- The second scholarship for indigenous first-year students is Adella Margaret Bragg Scholarship with a value of $6,000 ($1,500 per year), and,
- The final award is Hatch Scholarship for Indigenous Students with a value of $32,000 ($8,000 per year).
For each of the three awards mentioned above, there are respective eligibility criteria as well. For the first award, you should have an admission average of minimum 75%.
For Adella Margaret Bragg Scholarship, you should be enrolled in any undergraduate program at McMaster.
For the third award for Indigenous students, you should be entering any undergraduate program at McMaster (priority will be given to students of engineering) and also have a self-identity as an indigenous.

Athletic Financial Award
